PreSonus has released an updated version of its DAW, PreSonus Studio One 6, featuring many improvements and several new features.
The program received support for a global video track, smart templates and the ability to completely customize the interface.
The main innovation of the update was the expansion of capabilities for working with sound and video. In particular, the DAW received a global video track located next to the instrumental and audio tracks.
Users can add their own video and work on the audio track based on the footage. It is noted that video files are placed in the project in the same way as audio and MIDI, and there are no restrictions on the number of videos in the project.

Studio One 6 allows you to freely move video around your project, cut it and combine it with other videos. If the video contains its own audio track, it is placed on a separate subtrack.
According to the developers, the audio content of the video file is also displayed in the mixer. This allows users to freely route the video audio track within a DAW project and process it with plugins.
Studio One 6 also introduces smart project templates. The Smart Templates feature is an interactive guide that shows new users of the program which project template is best to get started.
It is noted that smart templates are made in the form of step-by-step guides with a list of questions. For example, the DAW clarifies what content the user is going to work with and what exactly he wants to do in the project, and then offers templates that suit the musician's tasks.
Studio One 6 has received more options for customizing the interface. So, for example, the user can hide all panels in the working window of the program or leave only those that he constantly needs in his work, getting rid of everything unnecessary. The developers have also added a collection of track icons to simplify visual navigation around the project.
The new version of the DAW is equipped with a more advanced system for working with song lyrics. Users can add text within MIDI regions and audio tracks, as well as in the sheet music sections. Moreover, text can be added in the Show Page window, making the lyrics part of a live performance. It is noted that words are assigned to notes and scrolled along with the music in karaoke mode.
The text also works like markers: by clicking on the desired line, the program will take the user to the corresponding position within the project. According to the company, this feature will be useful when recording vocals: after writing the text inside the project, the sound engineer can record vocals from a specific position and not look for it in the mix - the program will automatically take the user to where he needs to go.
PreSonus Studio One 6 received only one new plugin - Vocoder. At the same time, the developers have updated, increased stability and improved existing processing. In particular, the program has an updated equalizer ProEQ 3.
Other interesting changes include the appearance of panning modes. Each track can be panned in stereo or spatial audio mode.
A number of changes affected work in the Sphere cloud service. For example, simplified navigation is reported when editing projects together, adding sharing and synchronization functions to the right-click context menu.

Treatment procedure:
0. Delete the previous version (For details, see the TEAM R2R 2024.txt file)
1. Install Studio One 6
2. Launch Studio One. Close the Login window and in the window that appears, click "Activate offline"
3. Run StudioOne_Keygen.exe . Copy the keygen code to MachineID and click GENERATE . Save the received files.
5. Click Select License File and select studioapp6.pro.license from the saved files.
6. After scanning is completed, close Studio One, place the contents of the Extensions folder in
C:\Users\***********\AppData\Roaming\PreSonus\Studio One 6\Extensions
restart Studio One and authorize the extensions using the appropriate licenses that were generated in step #3
All operations are performed as an administrator.

To avoid problems with StudioOne_Keygen.exe and activation, disable your antivirus or add Keygen to an exception.
