Shock Movies is a global survey that looks at some of the most controversial and disturbing movies ever made. From graphic gore to rique subject-matter, these are the movies that pushed boundaries and were designed to take viewers to the very edge, and then over: pseudo-snuff, Cat III, 'Video nasties,' true crime, etc. 130 titles are covered and put into historical context with analysis and details on censorship.
