Rare Drums Redone is a selection of samples sourced from various rare and vintage drum machines, featuring some unique and hard to find devices! We have been lucky through years to get our hands on these machines thanks to various collector friends. What we used for this pack ranges from legendary and now defunct MFB, Manfred Frick Berlin, over Oberheim and Korg to MXR, E-mu, Roland and Univox drum boxes. All manufactured between 80s and early 00s.
These samples were not published in any of our drum packs before and are exclusive to this one. We were also not shy to redesign sounds with creative use of EQ, compression, tape emulators and analog filter to get even bigger sound than these boxes originally have. Giving them more punch to fit todays production standards, while retaining their original spirit!
Inside you will find only best and most useful one-shots we have recorded and a solid selection of retro sounding beats suitable for various genres. Drum machines like previously mentioned ones always had special warmth and charm and we have gave our best to capture that. Check these catchy and rich drums sounds and we assure you you will find more than enough percussive elements to enrich your tracks!
